Finewood Furniture

Inspired by, and named after, the designer Garth Chester, who was considered by many to be New Zealand’s answer to Ray and Charles Eames. The Auckland-based designer, most prolific in the 1950s - 60s, pioneered the use of bent plywood and is best known for his iconic Curvesse Chair, a highly covetable piece of mid-century design.

The Chester Chair is upholstered in Dolly fabric from the Warwick range. Fixed back with button detail.

Tapered wooden legs, natural or dark stain.
