In New Zealand, we are blessed with an abundance of coastline and beaches and the sea is an integral part of most Kiwis (New Zealanders) lives, hearts and minds, providing a bountiful harvest in the form of fish and shell fish.
A Kina is a sea urchin, dweller of the rocky shore line, and provides the inspiration for this light.
The entire Grow Series comes as a kitset, which significantly reduces the volume during freighting. This is one of the ways David is doing what he can to help preserve our beautiful environment.

David's Coral Lamp combines repeat patterned CNC cut plywood with a hint of Escher to produce a geometrically pleasing form, both pure in design and practical in purpose.
