Katie Brown is a truly innovative New Zealand glass artist, with a unique style which offers a sense of delicate structure and form. Reflecting her versatility, Katie produces a wide variety of work including, jewelry, goblets, bowls, platters, objects and ambient lighting for both commercial and residential environments.

Katie Brown Graduated with a Diploma in Glass Design and production in 1999 from Whanganui UCOL. After graduating Katie worked for internationally renowned glass artist Josh Simpson in the U.S.A. She was part of Simpson’s glass blowing team for 3 years before she moved to England to work for several other glass blowers including Neil Wilkin. This proved to be a pivotal time in Katie’s Career.
.She is now based at her own studio, Chronicle Glass , in Whanganui, where she is taking the art of glass blowing to a new level. Katie is known for creating stunning, complex sculptural forms, and light installations. 2007 saw Katie selected as the artist to produce the 2007 NZ Law Award trophies.
