To caress Jill Main’s Moa fabric in one of her many creations immediately inspires a sense of luxury. The long, deep pile of the fabric with its distinctive flax coloured ends is reminiscent of the long extinct Moa, the largest bird the world has ever known. This is just one of Jill’s faux fur creations to echo the New Zealand heritage. As well as these indulgent furs, she makes use of natural resources, including feathers, to create a wide range of textiles. |
