John Calvert's designs explore a central theme of being simple, balanced forms, which play with texture and colour. While there may be a certain minimalist element in his work, this aesthetic tendency is softened by sensual lines and curves and by colours that enrich the designs. John’s mirrors are skilfully crafted out of New Zealand wood, producing a unique and one-of-a-kind finish.
